Well, if you pre-order before 8th April, you GETS A LIMITED EDITION DRAMA CD along with the tankoubon on 31st May instead of June! I have pre-ordered two extra copies to give out to you guys YAY. I’m not sure how it will be packaged but I intend to give out both the manga and drama cd as a set. Splitting them defeats the purpose pfft, you should be able to listen and look at the images at the same time!

So may I see fanarts and fanfics of any of Hayashiya Shizuru’s works?! There will be a winner for each category. 1 from fanarts and another from fanfics, so choose each side wisely lol.

Uh a few rules:

1. SHOUJO-AI/YURI only! No H/futa/tentacles or whatever. 

2. No pornography/explicit fanarts/fic, maybe tastefully artistic ones lol (itz a grey line)

3. Pairings and stories can be whoever/wherever/whenever/AU, even crossovers (Hayate from HayatexBlade with Ran from Strawberry Sweet Shake!? Although Julia might have a say in it lol) as long they are created by Hayashiya Shizuru. 

4. Please state disclaimers in any of your fanarts and fanfics. Give credits =)

5. Please don’t steal fanarts/fanfics from others, it must be your work of art!

6. Winners will be decided by me. (I has the last say)

7. Submit your entries to my email address at stefanie_yz@hotmail dot com but if you want to upload them somewhere (deviantART/fanfiction) and then copy/paste the url on the comments section is fine too. Readers will be able to appreciate your works and I MIGHT be swayed by their reactions xD

8. Deadline will be on 31st May 2013, 11:59PM, Singapore Time.

9. Winners will be announced on 2nd June 2013 and after I get the shipment confirmation from amazon, it’ll probably be 2-3 weeks before I can repackage it and send it to the winners. Depending on where the winners live =o

Also, I managed to finish Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o 12 – Atelier no Koibito-tachi (その花びらにくちづけを アトリエの恋人たち) after getting a halfway-end LOL.

愛でたし. 愛でたし. =D

As you know my mum had cancer and she wasn’t doing so well in the late 2011, we almost lost her that December (our oncologist told us to be prepared for the worst) however the last chemotherapy worked and the tumor shrank. But we know her quality of life is not as good as before and it wasn’t long that she had to move around in a wheelchair. We didn’t lose hope and my strong mother continued her chemos despite the agony she suffered in each session. She had to be hospitalized a day or two for her chemo drips every month and she never complained (although we know she hated staying in the hospital and always had a great smile whenever we leave the place).

The end of last year was especially hard because she don’t even have the energy to get out of bed and move around our own home. It took a toll on her pride. My proud mother’s will broke. She wanted to stop chemotherapy but we encouraged her not to give up since the blood test results were always good whenever we went to the oncologist. But then even if the spirit is willing, the body is not. Her liver failed and she was in great pain. Sometimes I will blame myself for not being considerate of her pain and feelings during her last moments. Till now I still ask myself, how can I treat her that way?

The days she spent in the hospital, her eyes were wide and glazed, she wasn’t lucid. I was so scared to see her like that and we had to stay overnight to make sure she doesn’t pluck the breathing tube off. When arrangements were made to bring my mother back home, I can’t bring myself to go see her. I’m so afraid that I will break down and cry in front of her and then make her even sadder or weaken her resolve to survive. After the morphine wore off (a lesser dosage), it was agonizing to see her mind and spirit strong but body weak. At least she wasn’t in pain anymore. The night before, she was happily chit chatting with my uncle and the next she never opened her eyes again.

She suffered for 9 months to bring us to this world (my birth wasn’t an easy one) and for the next 26 years I have made her sad and cry with my stupid actions and ways. She loved (and worried about) us the most nevertheless and always remind me to take care of dad once she’s gone. She often joked that we loved her more than dad. I just felt it is so unfair that she wasn’t able to enjoy the fruits she had reaped with dad. Parents are supposed to stay together until they’re in their 80s or something but fate had something else for mum. It was not to be.

I love you, mummy. I wish you’re in a better place now and you will always be in our hearts as the strongest woman we have ever known. And yes, I will go find a job lol.

And uuhh, I opened my GF Drama CD so I won’t be giving that as a prize lol no worries. Will order 2 more if there’s a good response =3
Nobara no Mori no Otometachi turned out to be an interesting read, good character twist [kinda] for the supposedly boring, goody-two-shoes Ojou-sama type and I lol-ed at the cute side story in V2 xD Won’t wanna spoil you much heh. All I can say ‘Poor Izumi’ haha. Priced at ￥420, the manga is kinda small compared to Ichijinsha’s ￥900 manga, barely 3/4 of the latter’s size. Oh, I also got an oldie for ￥1 haha not including shipping charges but it’s still okay.

‘Himitsu no Hanazono’ is probably one of my first few gender bender/cross dressing shoujo-ai manga with a happy [kinda] ending whereas gender doesn’t really matter between the two characters and even if Sakuya’s a guy, he(she) is a hot one xD. MMmmm reminds me of another Sakuya from Kaikan Phrase. Oh, this is a true gem so I’m happy to own it.

It was labeled as ADULT … and I don’t want the MDA to rip open my parcel and confiscate it ;_; so … but the contents inside are YURIlicious! New titles scanlations worth a shot;

1. Himawari-san scanlated by Kawaii Scans
- This is pretty cute, I like the clean art style, the oblivious and charismatic Himawari-san xD.

2. Kimi Koi Limit scanlated by Payapaya Scans
- I have the manga and at first I was pissed off at the main character, cos she ‘cheated’ (by howling another person’s name in throes of passion orz) on her current beau. And I liked her beau, main character kinda reminds me of Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi … GRRRRR.

3. Nobara no Mori no Otometachi scanlated by Yurikai
- This has roughly the same plot as Mousou Honey kinda? Two childhood friends enter high school, the main character meets a Prince-senpai from school and ‘fell in love’ with her, add some blushes, kisses, groping– okay maybe no groping, that was a fragment of my imagination lol. Said Childhood friend has a crush on main character for a long time and turn angsty while main character doki-dokis with Prince. I might be too hasty in comparing the two titles because Volume 2 is coming out soon for this series =o and 2 chapters were scanlated.

4. Mousou Honey scanlated by Kawaii Scans
- Okay, this is the title that has the blushes, kisses, groping and no problems there. I WANT MY SMUT who cares if the plots are the same or what! SO THERE. I feel like I’m contradicting myself.

5. Sweet Guilty Love Bites scanlated by Kawaii Scans
- Oh I have this as well and all hail smut~ If you like PWP smut or Yukemuri Sanctuary (same mangaka), this is the title for you on a trashy weekend.

6. HeartCatch PreCure Doujinshi – Heaven is Just There scanlated by Payapaya Scans
- OZMG, a smutty (well compared to her other works, this is relatively tame =\) doujin by Myao (Morinaga Milk) of Pretty Cure. I don’t watch it but I don’t care, I just visualize them as Akko and Mari xD.

7. Blue Friend scanlated by Yurikai
- I’m still raging over the fact that whenever I see Blue Friend #1 in stock in Amazon Japan, the next day I wanna order it along with #2, I HAVE TO WAIT 5-9 days or weeks again =A= WHY!? It was in stock the other day! Did Japan buy everything in less than 24hrs!? DAMN YOU JAPAN/SHUEISHA, PRINT MOAR DAMMIT. That happens every time I go in Amazon Japan to add stuff in my cart =\

I guess that’s al– NO WAIT, almost forgotten about GIRLFRIENDS drama cd \O/ yeah yeah, I know it was released uuuhh almost a month ago? And I did mention about it in my facebook status haha but meh I’ll upload the cover just for the kicks.

Like most drama cds, it follows pretty closely to the manga so I don’t think there’s a need for word for word translations. I’m still looking for websites to buy it though =\ and willing to accept my credit card GRRRRR.
